Even though I purposefully stepped away from media and attention for a few years, people still make assumptions or ask me “what happened?”. The truth, I have a decent picture of the events that occurred but I do not understand everything that happened and I am trying my best to find answers. The thing I know is that a talented and hardworking team that worked side by side with me took an idea and turned it into a billion dollar company in only a few years. From a blank screen to millions of people a day using our product built through hard work and perseverance. We can do this again.
Three years ago, I created Parler, which was once the fastest-growing social platform in the world before things (very publicly) came crashing down. I founded and ran Parler with the best of intentions, and I’m ashamed it was hijacked by bad actors looking to promote toxicity and drive a malicious political agenda. (In fact, I’m pursuing my rights and remedies in litigation against Parler, and I expect to win.)
This isn’t a garbage fire like Bongino’s defamation suit against The Daily Beast either. Fired Parler CEO Sues Dan Bongino and Rebekah Mercer In Batsh*t Tort Claim. Matze’s team is playing on their own home court. This one is going to be wild.
