Apparently Apple has never had a sense of humor. In 2016 I developed a political commentary video game where you managed Hilary Clinton’s email server. The app used a combination of real emails and satirical emails to test your skills as Hilary Clinton’s IT manager. Its a game where everyone eventually loses, but you need to collect as many donations as possible while deleting evidence from the FBI. You could even “Wipe your hard drives… like… with a cloth…”.
Other fun mini games were also featured such as running a dry cleaning service for blue dresses and pushing Loretta Lynch under the proverbial bus when politically convenient.
Breitbart eventually published an article covering Apple’s ban which was not at all consistent with their rules on satire.
After the public outcry generated by Breitbart, the App store reversed their decision magically and the app was available for download! Breitbart wrote a followup piece outlining the app’s launch!
