Very pleased to share my latest Op-Ed, which ran today in Newsweek, on the subject of the DOJ’s blockbuster antitrust lawsuit against Apple.
Apple, to be blunt, brought this all on themselves.
Or to be more precise:
The company willfully and ruthlessly brought the lawsuit on itself by running what is effectively an app store monopoly, one led by a CEO whose unilateral power to ban anyone, anytime, for anything rivals any dictatorship in its sheer capriciousness.
While I’m no fan of big government or heavy regulation, there’s a time and a place where the law has to be used to protect people, and this is a perfect example.
